Fucking Pigs cont'd

An aggravated man is tasered as he moves away from police. He dies. They taser him at least twice even though there are four or more cops and he has not made any aggressive move towards them.

At this point the man had been in that airport for like 11 hours and apparently couldn't find anyone to help him and he lost it. Is that deserving of lethal force? Is it deserving of force at all?

That guy looked sketch. I didn't fight as they approached him, but he looked pretty unstable and I think the cops probably expected more.

What should they have done?

Were they following protocol?

I mean this seriously - the tasers are looking more dangerous than folks had hoped. Perhaps they need to go back to clubbing people, because it seems safer.

I think there is some lazyness involved with the police using the taser option more. They don't really need to tackle the person or engage them physically. Is there s strength setting on these things?

I also think that cops should conider using net guns, like Ted Nugent.

Its hard to say on this one. If you are a cop and you are told that your taser will not kill anyone and that is why you have them so you don't have to club someone or shoot someone, and then someone who is visibly irate makes a fast movement towards one of your partners, you would immediately react by discharging the taser, I can't say I completely blame the cops on this one, I mean, they are canadian for crying out loud.

what the hell did you just say? put that beer bottle down and walk towards the light.

you guys got it all wrong. Like the best part of "to catch a predator" is watching the dufus running to his car after the Chris Hanson interview and getting tasered by the man. priceless. best tv ever - it is so wrong on so many levels. but the tasering is cool.

i wonder what getting tasered is like? might have to ask brotherton to taser me. which he surely would happily do. i will need a ball gag though.
