Are you referring to the notebook I had that was a 3-ring binder with pre-printed forms? It was at Miguel's in the mid/late 80's for collecting new route info that went into the first edition in 1993. Climbers would either take the pages and fill them out and send them to me, or fill them out and leave them in the book. I still have every page of it. The funniest stuff was from Steve and Chuck Keller who must have been so high when they climbed, they couldn't even find their own routes again, much less describe where they were in writing.

Yes. That’s it! Great. I’m glad someone held on to it. And you’re right, some of the description and comments where hilarious. Thanks for the info. Thanks for hanging on to it.

If you ever get a chance, bring it down. But please let me know before hand, I have several guides who would get a kick out of seeing it again.

When I met Mr. Fig and was introduced to him as a RRG climber of many years his response was, "You must be a pretty good climber since I've never had to rescue you." I have a lot of respect for the gentleman.
"Be responsible for your actions and sensitive to the concerns of other visitors and land managers. ... Your reward is the opportunity to climb in one of the most beautiful areas in this part of the country." John H. Bronaugh

TrueNorth et al,

I probably won't get to it real soon, but it would be great to thumb through those things and scan the good ones to post em here.
