da judge, I have to admit you are on to something. I take responsibilty for the crappy routes I bolted at Curbside. I have told a dozen people that I wish I had never bolted most of those lines. The rock quality is "average" at best over there. However, I do not think the routes are causing most people any distress. If the community consensus is they should go, then everyone please let me know. I bolted them, I will remove them. The first or second bolt on the return of frank bryon needs moved (which is it ray?)...da judge, to show your sincerity in bringing our image back to par, I would like to offer you the chance to fix this. You may borrow my drill if necessary. I will also give you any hardware you need. And, sincerely, thank you in advance.
1 star is pretty much the bottom of the barrel on the 5 star system so just vote 1 star.

First bolt on Frank Byron is fine where it is I think. These anonymous crusties couldn't muster the power to send it anyway. Their mustaches and hexes would weigh them down.

Yep, fat. And Happy. In the few times that I have seen you, I have yet to see you smile. And that tells me all I need to know about you.

And if you want some, come get it. I am totally willing to take an ass kicking for what I believe and say. And I am even more willing to take an ass kicking for a friend. You don't seem like the type that is willing to do either, so just fuck off and shut up. And the judge dude as well. Anonymous cowards suck balls.

Hear ye, hear ye....

Holy Shit! Yeah, ok I'm a coward. Yeah OK I don't bolt routes (never have, never will).
I apologize for stirring up the shit. I didn't think that it would get personal and go this far.
You all are such sweethearts (I truely mean that).

I was hoping in my own twisted way to start a meaningful dialog. I should have the person skills of someone like Hugh, but I don't.

Oooops!

Wow, you just really created a large gap between yourself and the people devoting tons of time and effort into the red. I hope that was your intention because it worked pretty damn well. I hope we never cross paths.

pigsteak wrote: Now, where were we? I'd love to hear the PMRP BOD grow some balls on this subject and let us know where they stand as our appointed representatives. You want to drive a wedge in between a community trying to raise some money to save this great climbing area? Then stay silent on this issue.
Balls? One of you fukkers think I ain't got the balls to talk about what I think then sack up and say it to my face.

The BOD is not the bolt police. We are actively concerned with not being the bolt police. If it were up to me any line that could take a tricam would have a bolt yanked, but that's not something the few of us on the BOD can ever agree on. Educating people on torque settings and bolt placements, protecting choss from over bolting, even replacing anchors, is not in our mission statement. That's why we as a community have the Team Suck bolt fund and the ARI.

For the record, the RRGCC raises money to preserve access, and engages the forest service to maintain access. Anything else you want the RRGCC to do is a bit outside the scope of our mission.

What I dig is a one star system. That route's killer, give it a star. You want me as a BOD member to hand this down to Ray and try and get him to institute that in the guidebook? This is why we do not engage in such activities.

Hooooo Man.
I give this thread one star.
'Darling, may I please be excused for a moment?
I have to shake hands with a very dear friend of mine, whom I hope to introduce you to after dinner.'
The polite way to excuse yourself and take a piss.
