so today there is a sign in the window at galls that say "we are re-opening Nov. 23rd"...anyone know more on that?

man that is great to hear. Maybe they got bought out and are reopening under the same name with diffrent ownership. I'm pretty sure thats what happened with benchmark in cincy.

hopefully i can still use my passport credit!

I can happily confirm that PG's did get bought out. The store is now owned by the same gentleman who runs Benchmark in Cincinnati. We will be re-opening on Black Friday with new managment but many off the original staff. Hope to see you all there.

yay! The next closest climbing gear store was the waterstone (a fine store btw) for me.

They actually plan to open before 11-23-07, but the grande opening will be on 11-23-07. It will be SHIBBY!
