Warning shameless spray....

The piece we did on the Roc Trip at Roctoberfest wound up winning 1st place at the Kentucky New Photographer's Association ( www.knpa.org/2008winners.html )annual contest in the sports feature category. Most importantly our station won the Station of the Year title in our division. So big thanks to all those who helped make the story possible. Bigger thanks for making Roctoberfest so big this year!

i know i am a little behind but I dont subscribe to climbing magazines... i just saw the article in the old rock and ice issue about rocktoberfest, and the advertisment in the new one for the rrgcc

great to see the red getting national press like that! and congrats steve on gettin a big award like that.

Congrats Steve! Looks like you also got second place in Spot News 9 (whatever that is) and honorable mention in both General News NT and News Feature 9. I think you like rocked the awards.
