black & blue

Post by Josephine »

i bruise super easily and, bec i'm so fair skinned, it shows up really well. this past weekend i got a few more and one of them is extra ugly. :(

has anyone tried one of those bruise creams? they claim it'll speed up the healing process - but on the other hand they're pricey to say the least. (one brand is $75 for 1 ounce! yikes!) i'd like to know if they work before i fork out my hard earned dough.

specifically:
- do they really make the color go away faster?
- does the tenderness underneath go away faster or is it just cosmetic?
- what brand(s) work?

Why don't you just ice it? Icing reduces swelling and decreases the rate of bleeding under the skin.

Why are you climbing like a linebacker instead of a ballet dancer?

Are you really willing to spend 75 dollars on something that doesn't matter, like a bruise.

75 Dollars will buy you Guitar Hero three, and then you can send 8a like me.

no ice available at the crag. - i do try to ice when i can.

i was hoping that there'd be some sort of $10-20 version that would have the same results. i'm definately not willing to spend $75 on a cosmetic issue.

Saxman, you're right - my style needs work. :)

Wrap it then and ice it later.

What are the contents of the cream?
