also squids are plastic and won't last as long
How you compare may not be as important as to whom you are compared

I think these things are neat. http://www.rockclimbingtools.com/product-p/rct101.htm a little cheaper and certainly more durable than the squid. Having said that I kinda like plain old clamp type clip sticks.
