well it definitely isn't a traverse. But maybe it should have a yd rating. At any rate, I think that this technicality is important enough to devote a few pages of intense discussion to it. so....go!
Actually one thing it made me wonder was: so v8/9 + v15 = v16? really? I guess he would know better than I would what those upper grades feel like, since he's climbed confirmed v14 in Europe, but v8/9 moves don't really seem like they could add an entire grade's space of difficulty, especially at that level. Again though, it's not really important. Cool problem, huh?
