Hack...errrr I mean Jack's Canyon just south of Winslow.
I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.

Dude..now is not a good time to go to AZ...can you say 100+ degrees during the day and upper 80's at night? Flagstaff might be OK as it is at a pretty high elevation and; therefore, cooler....Le Petit Verdon AKA: The Pit is pretty cool but it really isn't a destiantion kinda crag. Jack's will be super Hot as will Phoenix, Cochise (Paradise Isle down there has reat moderate long sport climbs, although they are face to slabby) and even Mt. Lemon will be Hot!

Good luck not burning your finger tips off!
Lest we all forget... climbing is a mostly meaningless pursuit that we do for fun.

Just be sure to check out my latest book "How Not To Die of Heat or Sun Stroke While Climbing at (insert crag name here)".

Anything below 7,000 will be too hot to climb. Queen Creek's not bad, but it's no Red River. But, again too hot to climb there, maybe early in the morning, but that's it.
I've had just about enough of this shit.
