Thanks need to be lavishly served out to all those who helped with Roctrip. I know there were many but I saw a few familiar faces slaving away, day in and day out, looking tired and busy while everyone else was enjoying themselves.
Yasi and Paul - you two simply rule.
Morgain and Bentley - Heck yea for pulling it off!
Matt and Amy - I think we only saw the tip of the iceberg of what you all did for this. Damn your generosity doesn't seem to ever stop.
Ryan and Charlie - you all fed me so you guys rule just for that.
And tons of more folk I didn't see or don't know to thank but you know who you are and your efforts are sincerely appreciated. Petzl stated there were 80 volunteers. Wow!!!
Roctrip was a blast! Thanks to everyone for making it happen!
Michelle

I'll third this motion.
I've seen the inner workings of these events, and know that its by no means NO SMALL TASK. In fact, its very much the opposite.
Huge, huge thanks to everybody who gave their time to make it work.
And I for one am proud of what the Red and the RRGCC has accomplished in these past few years. Thanks.

To Morgain, Bentley, Matt, Amy, Bob, Bill, et al-
Good job.
I have been hearing the feedback and from everything I hear this was more successful than you all expected (and you expected it to be very successful.) Successful on many different levels.
The flash comp at the lode was the largest out door climbing event ever? Is that right? Holy shit....
I have been reading and hearing the full on spunking spray from the Rockstars regarding their regard for the Red and its routes. Holy crap, I thought I had used superlatives to spray about the Red before.....
Totally a new high water mark for the Coalition and for the Red.
You all pulled it off and everyone who climbs in the Red for years to come owes you a huge debt of gratitude.
Thank you for your hard work.

Positive vibes brah...positive vibes.
Heck yeah there was a tonahellavolunteers working.
I don't know how many people were behind the scenes/on the scene/in the scenes but to throw out a few other hollars...
Nicky and Pete. (Who doesn't love to see Pete workin' the tractor.)
Burton and the sound system. (Who apparently had a team of slaves working with him.)
Roger who helped with building a food serving platform.
Jeff always around doing something...
Dr. Bob doin' the doctoring. The BODers doing other BOD things (which includes a spic and span job on the property of Red River Outdoors. You almost couldn't tell there had been >600 people trompin' through there and that was just at 11am...).
The Sunday morning breakfast crew who easily pulled in another couple hundred for the property for those not pre-registered. (Ahh, coffee from Tully's. Delicious.)
And ParadoxSports. www.paradoxsports.org
When Nicky wasn't working the registration table or diving off the stage I think they were there holding down the fort or serving food. (DJ, VJ, Pete, Aron, and about 10 others whose names allude me.)

I know that you believe that you understood what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

thanks so much everyone for your dilligence & hard work!!! the Red is definately the place to be - stellar climbing AND a wonderful community.
one thing that impressed me was the number of new faces I saw helping out. hopefully they'll be back again for future events.
