Volunteers Needed for Rocktoberfest 2002!!!

Volunteers needed to help out at Rocktoberfest 2002

First we need some volunteers to help build a wall at Torrent for the DYNO COMP!!! We have the supplies but we need a couple of people willing to put it together!!

Second, we need volunteers to help Mark with the BBQ. If we can come up with a couple of pork pullers, we will save $$$ on the catering bill!!

Third, we need a couple of climbers to help guide at the via ferrata!! So if you haven't done it yet, here is your free opportunity!

Fourth, we need volunteers to help direct traffic! parking is going to be tough with the limited space, so we need a few good traffic controllers!!

Fifth, we need volunteers to help out in other capacities during the evening events.

The more volunteers we have, the less work you really have to do! We will make up a schedule prior to the event so that you can also participate in the events as well!!!

Please let me know if you are able to volunteer as soon as possible so we can finalize the list!

Gretchen, I wish I could help but I think I will have my children with me off and on all weekend. If that changes, I'll let you know. I'd love to guide the via ferrata. When's the training for that? I could only help Saturday if at all though.

Thanks Lynne. I will let you know the details soon. Right now I am compiling a list of those who have already volunteered. I am hoping to get a bunch of people so we can spread it out well so people don't have to "work" all weekend. I want everyone to have the oppotunity to participate as much as possible!

Shannon was at LexRocks last night and got a few volunteers for building the wall I think.

GREAT!!!! Cheap Holds is sponsoring the event. It should be a blast as long as we have a wall to put them on!!!

Not the answer you're looking for but I'll tell ya my delima anyway. I can't commit to help because I'm going to be cruising back and forth from Gorge to L'ville for some stinking press photog conference that they decided to hold on the same weekend as the 'Fest.

Sorry to hear about that Steve! Sucks to work the weekends! There's next year! Keep your fingers crossed! Being that this is a HUGE event for us, I pray that the weather behaves & tons of people show up. We a TON of great things going on!!!
