Ribs hurt

Post by SCIN »

I go through stages of pain in my back near the bottom of my ribcage (back of my body). I think I've correlated it to my harness riding high up and hooking beneath my ribcage when I belay or fall. Has anyone else experienced this? I've experienced it on and off for years and now have finally figured it may worsen when I'm climbing a lot.

never had that happen but sometime my massive manhood gets crashed by my harness. my advice get a better fitting harness and stop all belaying and falling until then.

Ray, you need to get out of bed, try to hobble around a little every few hours if you don't sores will develop and then the flesh eating bacteria will finish you.

Your giant pecs are throwing your body out of balance.

could be a messed up harness - or messed up ribs....no its a harness cause it happens when you climb....no that's the ribs, yeah its messed up ribs ray, you messed your ribs up. I'd check your harness out first though, just in case...and you can replace a harness but you can't do that with ribs. if it's ribs and not a harness-which I think it is...most likely.

I don't know what the problem is, but I know how to fix it.

Eat donuts. Drink Mountain Dew. A Big Mac once in a while wouldn't hurt.

You need cushion, like us normal folk.

a simple test is to take your harness off and see if your ribs still hurt. if they dont - its your harness. if they do its probably your ribs. no wait...its the other way around.

Have Michelle squeeze you really tight, Sir!

This won't prove any of the above theories or proposed remedies, but it will be a pleasant experience!

Taking falls is destroying whats left of your spinal column. Hitting a boulder pad is even worse than falling on a rope. I downclimb about half of anything at CT cause dropping off would wreck me again.
