Crank
Al was looking good. We thought he might pull a solo gig being at church funderaiser and all. No dice, he rocked out. Even made a encore cover of Beast of Burden sound....fun. He suffered from Hep C several years ('04 / '05) ago, but has since made a pretty full recovery.

And yes, THE Peter Buck guitarist for REM. McCaughey played a lot with REM before their demise. He's in several bands, including Minus 5 with Buck. Word was they drove up from Athens together to play the gig. He looked like a politician shaking hands, signing autographs, posing for picture with couples and their babies aftet the set. He was great.

It was a crazy good line up for FREE music, I always knew the Catholics were good for something.
I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.

They came up with Mardi Gras, too. And those nun habits are great Halloween costumes.

Oh yeah, the Popemobile. As if he weren't phallic enough...

We have the best group of assholes in the world around here!

The Gorge is unlike any place I've ever seen. That includes all the boating, biking, and other little communities around the country in which I consider myself an affiliated participant.

And then there's the UK football team. :!:

smileys...

Climbing in the RRG again. Awesome.

A badass ropegun who drank my PBR. And didn't make fun of me. Yet.

Rain on the way...kayaking!

Oh yeah...KY football.
