leaving crowded and annoying CA life for a beautiful area like KY, seeing people be nice to each other just because it's who they really are, snuggled in bed during a thunderstorm, feeling like everything is working out, and most recently -
. . . quitting two shitty jobs that treat me like a droid in favor of a better one that acknowledges I have a brain, pays better, flexible and reasonable hours, and is so much closer to home. Plus free college courses to play around with. gots to edjucate ma braine.
The best years of your life are the ones in which you decide your problems are your own.
You do not blame them on your mother, the ecology, or the president.
You realize that you control your own destiny.

Alejandro and beer at Christ the King's Octoberfest Friday night

Fun, fast 5K followed by a chill 5K cool down Saturday morning

Mark Olson, Peter Buck, Scott McCaughey, and Tim Easton all on stage at one time along with yummy beer back at the Octoberfest Saturday night

Beautiful climbing weather Sunday

Yeah it was a pretty good weekend, Peter Buck is cool.
I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.

One of my favorite climbing partners is coming back from spain. I hope I can still pull down as hard as he can.
