Talked with Chuck a week ago. He mentioned that he and Greg are going to hold a belay clinic with Petzl products on Friday (free). Is their a sign up sheet for this or just show up? And what time does is start?
From what Chuck mentioned it sounded like a killer demo and correct useage of Petzl belay devises. Seems as though I haven't been talking enough and paying way to much attention to my climber.

The belay clinic will measure how much force is put into a system by your belay method...it's pretty cool stuff! The primary idea is to educate folks and make them aware of all aspects of belaying. Oh yeah; and you get to hang out with Chuck Odette (a bad ass dude in his 50's that climbs 5.14)
See ya there! Not sure about the sign up, contact Bentley B.

you are.. you'll end up needing to send an email to roctripclinics@rrgcc.org (you can find the email link and brief discussion of the clinics here: http://rrgcc.org/roctrip_reg.php). more than anything, though, if you're seeing that it's confusing. let us know and, if you have an idea, let us know how we can improve it.Meadows wrote:I think you're supposed to sign up on rrgcc.org as you would for other clinics (you will send an email), but the instructions are a little confusing.
