Whatever man. I'll give ya climbing, drinking, mowing the lawn w/o headphones, but running? Ya gotta have the tunz.pigsteak wrote:playlists suck..ignore steve..it isn't running if you have to wear headphones. it is a night at the movies.
go robbie fab!
I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.
LOL thanks everyone. Pigsteak has it right. After the initial X-ray the doc saw a stress fracture in my right fibula at the same area as my previous fracture. But the MRI showed no fracture. I had completey fracture that right fibula in a bouldering fall back in 2001 and the area has a large calcium deposite on it now which is causing the pain. The doc showed me some stretches and exercises to do for it and said it was ok to run.
I haven't ran a lot on it yet but so far it feels pretty good. I am pretty sure that I will only be running the half marathon now. Or my other option is to put the fund raising on hold until next year. I'll need to decide this by the next of this week. When I saw Josh last Friday he we pretty quick to tell my to take care of myself and not worry about running. That meant a lot to me considering.

For some reason I can't get into listening to music while running outside. I guess I am old school about that. Plus I try to do most of my running in parks and on trails where I would rather be engaged in the natural surrondings. Though some NIN would be rad when I am fighting for the last 2 miles of a 10 mile run.
