Training and Food
All the hot climber chicks out there!! I want to start training for the fall and spring and I'm just curious what exercises and routines work best for you. Also what foods get you ready for a day of crushing and what keeps you going at the crag. Thanks!!

That's the thing...I got my gallbladder taken out last year and thought that would fix the problems I was having. But it still seems everything I eat makes me feel sick. I have no energy and have been told I might need more Iron, but iron makes me feel sick too. It just sucks.

For me, keeping a supply of simple carbs at the crag and eating them steadily throughout the day has helped. It seems to keep the blood sugar levels steady and keeps the energy up. So, maybe something like fruits that you know won't upset your stomach. I usually try to eat a good solid meal the night before, then a light breakfast (since I usually get to the crag early), then fruits and such every 1 1/2 to 2 hours. I've been told not to eat sugary stuff (somewhat counter-intuitive since that's the point of the simple carbs) because they tend to spike the blood sugar level rather than even it. So I stick to fruits. Mostly bananna's, apples, and peaches. I try to stay away from things like the GelShots from Clif because they have a high amount of sugar IIRC.
Mostly, just make sure its all day. Don't eat a huge breakfast then crank until 6 with no other food and expect to send that last route of the day. Unless your piss strong like some of these people.
Of course, most people will just say eat some ex-lax and try to minimize the water intake. You don't want to have to carry that extra weight up the rock.
Good luck.
