one day in boulder
if you had one day in/around Boulder where would you climb?
Boulder Canyon or the Flatirons-matter of fact, just got back from there. Watch climbing between 1-3pm that's when the thunderstorms typically blow up around there.

for my 1-day i did flatiorn #3. had a wonderful time. we got up super early to start climbing by 6am - were on and off the route in time for a great breakfast at this place by Neptune.
since i've never done anything else in boulder i don't know how it compares, but it was fun. vedauwoo was much more fun if you have the time to head up that way (about 90 mins north)

First Flatiron, Standard East face for easy (5.6) soomewhat runout slab climbing if that is your cup of tea. (I've done it at least a half-dozen times and is a great warm-up).
Eldorado Canyon for climbing on sandstone, with routes that are "tricky". Most are in the 5.6-5.11 range (tons in the 5.8-5.11 grade). Eldo is known for balancy, steep climbing, generally short cruxes, huge exposure, and loose rock in some spots. Routes range from 1-6 pitches.
