The RRGCC is going to have a gear sale at the end of July to raise money for the Murray Property Purchase. You could donate it and replenish yours!

If you have comprehensive coverage, make a claim against your insurance carrier for replacement of the gear with new stuff since there is no market for used gear. It might also be covered under a homeowners/renters policy.

hey loren glad to here that you are ok for the mostr part you gear should be fine if you have any doubts about any of it build an anchor with some of it then do some drop test withe a really heavy haul bag or something if tthe pack is heavier the you or even close and the gear doesnt break than that should take care of any mental doubts you might have

Hey, Loren. Sorry about your accident, but thankful that you are okay. Hope the pup gets along well. Johnny is right about your insurance. Check that out. Also, if you have any connections at a hospital, you could have xrays made of your gear. Jesse and I did that on a 4.5 I dropped on a climb. Cracks will show up clearly.

Holy Shit!!
I was ignoring this post until I saw you posted Loren.
So I guess you'll be getting a new car. So did Lisha fall asleep or what? I am so glad you guys are O.K. If you need anything at all just say the word. You know that everyone at the gym including me would do just about anything to help you out any way we can. Have a safe 2nd half of your trip and see you when you return.
Oh man, he is messing that up. However, he is missing his left leg so that way would probably be harder for him. SCIN, just before spraying some beta for a climber doing a route the WRONG way.

Hey y'all. thanks for your input/support. Nala is healing pretty well, though it's hard to tell. I'll get her checked out again when I get back home. I do have insurance, though it's not covering rental, towing, dog injuries or my rack. Honestly though I'm not too concerned about all of that right now. I think that I may have been a little delirious when I posted this thread as it was the same day as the wreck. It's hard to believe that my rack was what I was worrying about right then. Anyway...

Danny, it was kind of rad to get thrown at 70mph (Lisha actually said she had cruise at 71). I woke up with the car rolling, hit my head a couple of times(inside the car I think) and then was sliding accross the desert. It's kind of like body surfing I guess but, without the board and with some cacti. I think I might have a wicked scar! See you soon.

Crazy. I would guess your gear is just fine. The micro crack thing is pretty much not true. Anything without obvious damage should be cool.

Hope you, you friend, and your dog have a nice rest of the trip.
