PMRP this coming weekend...

Post by Josephine »

I just wanted to point out that this coming weekend is the UClimb clinic.

Regardless of your involvement or lack there of, there will be aproximately 100+ people in the PMRP this weekend - mostly on the easier sport & trad routes.

Just thought you may want to keep that in mind when deciding where to climb! This may be a great opportunity to visit some of the more classic crags. If you do choose to climb there, please carpool to ease the congestion.

Thanks again to RRO, Miguel's, Linda's, Mark's, and everyone else for working so hard to put on this great RRGCC Fundraiser! :D

I think it's awesome that the Tackett's have orchestrated this event...with VERY little help from anyone else. This could raise close to 10K for the RRGCC. YAY Matt and Amy! Woohoo!

i cant even begin to thank everyone that has been involved with this event. i really think it will be a good one for all involved.

as far as the fundraising side of things go. im not one to count my chickens before hand so i cant give you a #. this should be a very solid fundraiser for the area but i can promise it wont be a 10k event. sorry to be the one that says that, i just dont want to give false impressions. we will not have final #'s or breakdowns of who gave what until everyone shows at the event and has a good time. i am hopeful of what we can do.

many, many thanks to all that have helped !!

stay tuned, even you mr crusty......
