after spending part of the day at military, climbing terry's routes i just had to say a few things to get them out.
i first wanted to thank you Terry for the great routes you put up and the hard work you put into keeping us safe. big shoes. climbing your routes is like sharing a moment with you again.unlocking moves, getting scared, pulling through, and knowing you're laughing your ass off at us. you touched those holds and you left your mark, your DNA on them. then we come along and follow the trail, our DNA mingling with yours; like shaking hands with you again. it's almost like we're doing it on a cellular level.
i still hold some anger with you but most days i forget to take it with me. i do my thing, you do your's and we still get along. you we're a great friend and a mentor Terry and i thank you for all that you did for me. when we all meet up again i know it will be a good time.
been needing that. be well.

man, the king jerr is still being missed. we were at gallery yesterday and i was commenting on how good a route gold rush is. he sure could bolt a great route. he had the eye for it, and knew how to sink bomber bolts in the right placements. that son of a bitch. if he hadn't offed himself, at this point he would have bolted several new lines and would've definately gotten laid. and we would have had endless hours of terr amusement at the starbucks and other places.
terry, i hope you have a high speed connection wherever you are and have been keeping up with all the gushing about you. maybe next time you will play your hand a little differently..........
and to throw some slagging in. Andrew, leave the little boys be. I know you are a buckeye and it is okay to have the man-boy action there, but remember down here we don't take too kindly to that sort of thing.

first off we aren't dating. just sex so that's cool.
i know what the ocean smells like. i know what fish smell like. i know what wild animals smell like. i also know what you smell like. through logical thought i can make a reasonable guess as to the smell of an otter's mouth, fish lips.

Dang, anticlimber. That was beautiful, especially the "doing it on a cellular level" part. And I mean that sincerely. Some of Terry's routes are amazing. I've had almost outer-body experiences on them. All Things Considered is just a crazy beautiful line, established long after many other routes at Military, passed by so many people, with only Terry having the eye to discover it. He drove me batty at times but I never had a problem praising him for all he's done for RRG climbing.
Thanks anticlimber.
And thanks Terry.
