Somewhere in the Lake Garda region of Italy would be nice as well. Arco probably. Beautiful lake, watersports of all types, excellent climbing, and Gardaland! Not to mention Medieval times, where they repeat the story line in 7 languages as they go along. Kinda neat, even neater after an hour of their unlimited beer and wine. Yum.

Better stock up on diet pills and laxatives now. They're expensive there cuz they're more in demand....

I already live somewhere not close to the Red. It sucks driving 8 hours every weekend to go climbing--not to mention the gas prices

i would have to agree with anticlimber....ohio and michigan would both be stellar choices. if most of the people from ohio and michigan are at the Red, then who is climbing in mich or oh? you can have a complete crag to yourself.
