My God, the Onion article.
How is natural selection ever going to work if the stupid are protected ?
There is a reason that some kids live and others don't. Some people are just not going to make it for one reason or another. The earth is overpopulated enough. The stupid genes that rise up and manifest themselves as dumb people create short lifespans. Just the way it is.

Wait a minute.
This climbing thing, there are a lot of people that think I am stupid! Could the stupid genes be expressing themselves, like .....oh....nooooooooooooo.............
....with every step he takes ... every move he makes....
odds are he won't live to see tomorrow.

Right on, GWG! That was the most fun car ride I ever went on as a kid - huge mattress in the back of the station wagon all the way down to Lake Cumberland. Station wagons rock.

Heh.

Next thing you know kids won't be allowed to... be born. That would be stupid.

What? You went to Lake Cumberland and you didn't call?

Get a grip folk! We played Dark House! That's hide and go seek....in the dark! I can't count how many teeth we lost from head butts running through Grandma's big upstairs in the dark!

Yes! We rode on the back of Grandpa's wagon.....but on top of the hay bales, drinking an RC all the way. Grandpa had a black Ford, '53 I think, and we piled three deep in the back to go to the picture show. No air conditioning, just a breeze as big as the speed of the car, as long as it didn't rain.

We had corn cob fights in the hay loft, and I can't count the broken limbs we got from being knocked out of the loft. We also had tobacco stick sword fights, and jumped off the barn roof using pillow slips for parachutes.

We drove when we were 9 years old--cars and tractors. My bike didn't have a seat. I rode standing up all the way.

We went outside as soon as we finished breakfast, and we ran, rode horses, swam in ponds, climbed trees, fished, hunted snakes for evil purposes and ate berries off the vine. I never saw an adult during the day unless someone broke a limb or lost a tooth.

We lived.
What I love about running is you can meditate while running. It's a peaceful place.

If nature won't take care of them, then they just need to be sterilized, not protected. Stupid people should not beget more stupid people. It's just not right. Darwin would be so pissed right now. . .

You do not blame them on your mother, the ecology, or the president.
You realize that you control your own destiny.
