One sweet Bus!

If this thing had Synchro (and was actually feasible) it would be the ultimate vehicle to live out of.

Here's their website:

http://verdier.ca/

Target Price: $69,000

Might be a bit steep for most climbers.

Even better, you can purchase an unframed 18x39" poster of the thing for $89. They even throw in shipping for free. What a deal.

Aesthetically it's a nice bit of design! Plus, the animation/rendering is great.

But...
I have some doubts about wether a vehicle can be as "open" as the one shown in the animation and be stiff enough both to operate and to survive collisions.

Also, by bringing up environmental issues, it raised the question in my head about whether this sort of 'techno-nomad' lifestyle isn't going to consume more resources than a lot of other lifestyles?

By the way, what's "synchro"?

(and someone tell the schmuck who designed thier web site not to resise my browser window... grrrrrrr! )

yeah Tom, don't you feel dumb now.

i had the same concerns about the structural stability of it with such an open floor plan. I seriously doubt that they can package everything like they showed but it is one hell of an idea.
