thoughts on the future

Post by krampus »

So I'm driving home and this guy on a bike takes over the only lane and is riding about 5mph. I don't ordinarily get pissed about this cus I do it too when I feel threatened and I know plenty of bikers that do it because they know they have the same rights as a car. This felt different to me though, the guy was no biker, he looked as though he hadn't ridden a bike in ten years. I know I am being a hypocrite and stereotyping the guy but with his polo shirt, beer gut, and various electronic gizmos attached to his belt I assumed him to be a typical chach. The limy slithering lawyer type ya know. And instead of "hey, I'm a biker and I have rights too so start paying attention cars" I got the over all feeling of "fuck you, my biker friend told me I have the right to take over a lane so I'm gonna and I'm going to go as slow as I want, haha, fuck you."

I wasn't exactly sure how to feel about this because people like that in general piss me off but he was on a bike and not in a Hummer. So my question is, when conservationism hits the main stream and all of a sudden its cool to give a shit about the earth, how are all the mindless chach's going to find ways to be assholes about it?

haha, you can't be that much older than i am but I have a younger cousin so I occasionally pick up some new lingo. Though I usually consider chach to be more derogatory and closer to prick, but either way.

Any sugestion on how to be an asshole would be greatly appreciated.
Actually I am talking more about how the soul tends to get ripped out of things once they hit the mainstream.

krampus..I'm utterly hurt you's think I'd have any insight in that area.....

bikes don't have the same rights as you do on the road, no matter what they think. if they did, why do we need bike lanes? besides, your hummer is bigger than his 32 speed titanium frame anyday.

I am not so sure, I had to steel my hummer from my nephews matchbox collection, he sure put up a fight for a 5 year old.
