Huh? Come on, now. I don't have to read seven pages of this to know what's going on. And I was right. Anticlimber didn't get his "I hate immigrants" comment from the thread. He pulled it out of the air to establish a weak argument that he could argue against.
Beyond the straw man argument, I would note that equating immigrants with illegal immigrants (the subject of this thread) is another logical fallacy called equivocation.

I was around when all the break ins were happening, I luckily was'nt a victim at that time. I know poor white people steal, and poor blacks, Jews, baptists what have you. The laws we have established prior to now tend to deal with those people and the theft. Our laws have a hard time dealing with people who have no Id, no history, no address, no money, etc. etc.. all the while, the American tax payer foots the bill untill we ultimatley deport them, only to return a month later, and start the cycle all over again. Where do we draw the line? did you really read the Bill??? it was a fucking rewards program that would put Best Buy to shame. We don't need new laws, just need to enforce what we have. I'm sorry, but we do need some sembelance of a fence, some unmanned drones, and so on. we need to impose penalties against the Mexican Government for letting this happen, and we need to let the Border Guards to use any means necessary to get they're job done. As always, I don't have all the answers, but I do have some ideas..... More to follow.....

It sounds like you are against people who take more money in taxes than pay in taxes. If that is the case than we have a hell of a lot of people to deport. Lets also get rid of everyone who uses more money in insurance than they pay, because they are driving the costs up for people like me who haven't been to the doctor in years.
I actually agree with you somewhat, but you seem to paint too broad of a picture of Hispanics/illegal immigrants. Many deserve to be here a lot more than just some inbreed fool that got lucky enough to be born here, who grows up to be a drain on society. There are plenty of Americans with no id, history, address, money etc. etc...
To be honest with you, I don't have any clue what the right answer is to this problem, and I do agree it is a problem.
I just know that I have had a lot of positive experiences with illegals and the children of illegals.

i'm not arguing against or for anything. i simply watch people's reactions, and that is a very common response when talk of this nature comes up. i could care less about immigrants, legal or otherwise. yes they do make it hard to find work, especially in some ares. yes they work damn hard. yes they contribute to some crime and problems. yes they are some of the greatest people i have ever met.Total Fucking Muggle wrote:Pru wrote:
