Columbus

Post by Steve »

Alright all you Buckeyes I'm headinig north to Ohio this weekend to climb your rocks, boat on your lakes, visit my relatives, and cause as much chaos as I can in the process.

Actually I'm heading to Columbus for the Emmy awards and am looking for some good places to eat some breakfast and lunch downtown. We'll be at the Hyatt on N High. Dinner is part of the awards ceremony and they'll be an after party (ie free drinks) so I'm looking for more dayside types of places. Any suggestions on good places to eat, drink and be merry in that part of downtown?

Thanks for your thoughts, suggestions, and rants about my Buckeye jokes.

seriously Steve don't miss Comfest. Its the coolest, hippiest, lay back festival in the US and the largest. ComFest has the largest beer sales of any outdoor fest in the US. Great live music on like 5 stages, good venders, food, lots of BEER, great art, etc etc. If you are staying downtown just walk south on high street and you won't miss it. Oh and it FREE - admission that is, not the beer - unless you know someone working the beer tent...thanks Joe!

So I just found out that the after party is not at the hotel, its at BoMA? The Bar of Modern Art? Free admission and the first drink is free. Is that palce worth our time?
