I'm not catching you at Grayson Lake, either, Shamis. :P

Anybody find somebody to petition/harass about this?

I was actually thinking about buying some sort of boat or canoe just for the purpose of dws, now I'm really bummed out.

Can't they just make a special clause that says anybody with climbing shoes on is exempt?

I'd really like to see how many people actually died with climbing shoes on. I bet the number is zero.

Wild dogs at Muir and Torrent. Morons who jump in the water before seeing how deep it is or whether there is debris in they way. Society is just too stupid to allow those of us with any amount of intelligence to function with any amount of freedom.

Well said, Saxman. The safest society is one in which there are few freedoms. The founding fathers knew that freedom is dangerous.

My kindergarten entrance exam score was in the 99th percentile.
