Those aren't ledges. The lens Scott was using makes them look like that. Oh yea, that's not Muir either. You're thinking of Midnight Surf.

No, that's the lense. The ledge on the picture of the super hot guy is actually only 7.375 inches in height and 4.566 inches deep. Not like the ledge on B3.
