I've seen Hillary make some strange faces maybe she drank the urine from the crucifix floating in the bottle from that maplethorpe art project, that would make her kinda gross but you know her "faith" may have made her irrational- can we afford another prez who is subject to guidance from "faith" why that might drive a clinton to do the right thing, perhaps a new precedent?

atheists say "there are no unicorns". in order to "prove" this beyond merely being a theory, a person would have to know every single thing about the universe. if a person knew everything about the universe, they would then, by default, be god.

without knowing every single thing there is to know, then the possibility that unicorns might exist has to be left open.

now why in the world did I know that was coming...

by your theory, wouldn't knowing everything make that person a unicorn, and not god? and since unicorns are not held to the same all knowing definition as god, I would think that proving these two would take different standards of verifiablility....

btw, a unicorn came with my first doll as a child, so I do believe they exist.

Douglas Adams wrote:"I refuse to prove that I exist," says God, "for proof denies faith, and without faith I am nothing."

"But," says Man, "the Babel fish is a dead giveaway isn't it? It could not have evolved by chance. It proves that you exist, and so therefore, by your own arguments, you don't. Q.E.D."

"Oh dear," says God, "I hadn't thought of that," and promptly vanishes in a puff of logic.

exactly rhunt..that is my point...christian faith and atheism are the two most far fetched positions to maintain. they are closer to each other in their reliance on faith than either side wants to admit...

being an agnostic is the most solid position from which to argue.
