They should have just called it 5.mud

Tower has a cool feel to it... but the climbing is less than spectacular. Far less. Other than Africa and Arachnid (1st pitches only), and Cavers, the routes are pretty bad in general.

I'm a history fan, so I dig that about it... but lets face it... there are hundreds of far superior routes, both in aesthetics and quality, ALL over the area.

Your hands aren't big enough to get the fist jam. 5.4 is about right for the rest of us. I belayed a guy that took half an hour to make that move and 5 minutes to get to the belay after that.

one time i climbed a plastic rock wall at the fair... i got like 3 feet up
