Route Auction
I read about this on the RRGCC site... any updates on the situation?

What is the status on the Murray property purchase? It seems to have dropped off the map at the rrgcc website. Has it been shelved? I know the turn-out was light for Derby , sorry , I should have been there. I have some questions and maybe some suggestions that were probably covered that night , but I was not there .

Gretchen? You are strangely silent? I have come up with an idea for some slogans and how to simplify the campaign.
50 BUCKS TO KEEP IT UP! A C-NOTE FOR A HARD ROUTE!
To raise money and secure access to the crags on the Murray Property in Red River Gorge climbers are asked to make a minimum donation of $50.00. A route auction is also being held with a minimum starting bid for route sponsorship of $100.00.
Put the RRGCC website info at the end of this and print it as a classified ad in climbing mags and also turn it into a poster for climbing gyms.

Oh, that's right. But she's too young to be a hippie. How come I'm not there seeing that I am one who can't remember the 60's ... or the 70's for that matter?

Hey guys! I am now working with the RRGCC to start a pretty aggressive fundraising campaign for the purchase in the next few weeks. I am unsure of how the route auction is going. Johnny probably knows more about that than anyone. Please PM me with any suggestions or offers for help. It's important to get the word out. Within the next week, we will have an informational flyer and a letter available for distribution. It will be posted on the RRGCC web site and you can take it to your climbing gym or wherever for posting. All assistance will be helpful. Also, we are COMPLETELY open to suggestions and ideas. However, in sharing your views, you may be asked to put your energy into whatever you spew about.

Sorry but I was definitely playing in hippee land for awhile! It was a trip to say the least
At any rate, this has not ben shelved, still in progress, I believe Shannon is on vacation this week so the I won't have any answers until next week. Still working on the website and logistics. So hang tight, this is far from over!

Just genuinely disengenuous.
