Or by bike.

I wouldn't be jumping ahead on Arena/Oil Crack just because we are cooperating on road maintenance. I think the verdict is still out on whether ALL of us can act responsibly. But who knows, if we are all good little climbers, then with time things could change?

There is still the problem of people who don't read this board. A majority of the cars I see parked at the top of the load don't have Kentucky tags. The main obstacle seems to be that we can't police everyone.

How about we have a fundraiser to buy the RRGCC tow truck that way we can tow people who park illegally and block the road and we could keep the money they'd have to pay to get their cars back and pay off the Southern Region.

has the option of paving portions of the road been explored? what are the total costs charmagne and the county incur per year maintain the road? i'd bet there are probably some local or state grants/funds that would help that cause.. and if charmagne is also putting in $2,000 per year, i'd think it would start to get pretty reasonable..

but i don't know the full story so those are just a couple random thoughts.

an interesting site or two:

maybe.. they might be stressed about the part from the lode to the sore heel pull-off, though, too. that definitely gets bad now and again..
