What I love about running is you can meditate while running. It's a peaceful place.

Hey Wes, Chip Taylor & Carrie Rodriguez's Red Dog Tracks is a pretty good album, check it out sometime.

I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.

Wasn't super psyched the first time through, but after giving it a few more plays, it is a pretty solid album. Guests include Amy Lee and Robert Smith..

Jim James, superstar and Louisville native, of My Morning Jacket, is going to play a benefit show at the Rud (The Rudyard Kipling) for the Pyle Family (not sure what for, though) on Sunday June 3rd @7pm.

Should be a really good show, tickets are $34 and only on sale at Ear X-Tacy. If you are interested in going but aren't lucky enough to live in Louisville (snort) to go to the coolest record store ever to buy tickets then PM me! This will sell out quick.

34 bucks would make that the most expensive show I've ever seen. Animal Collective at the Dame on Wednesday night.

you aren't understanding why it is so expensive, mcrib. I guess it is to help keep the Rud open, which is definitely one of the coolest venues in the city. and Jim James is a superstar. that too.
