I put up some rap anchors (slung a tree, 2 slings, 2 rings) on the big tree maybe 10 feet from the edge of Supergun since I didn't really see how you were supposed to get down. It's my first time putting up anything for other people to use, so someone might want to double check it. The thorn bushes are mostly out of the way for pulling the rope, but the whole area looked nasty.
Beta request: is there some nice way to do the exit move on that thing? I noticed claw marks from the last guy who pulled up off a stack and saw nothing but dirt. It's slightly overhanging fists, a flat little ledge, and then maybe a 2 foot section of #5 camalot and then dirt. Getting my feet on that ledge was not pretty at all.
Was leaving the gear the right thing to do, or is there a walk-off somewhere in those thorn bushes?

I don't remember how to do that exit move....something to a mantle. My wrist was shot at that point, but I was bound and determined not to scratch and claw thru that dirt. When I lead the thing it was easier because I didn't have all those darn big cams hanging off of me dragging me down.
Leaving the webbing was fine. When JB and I did it we cleaned up some junk webbing and just went off that tree. Both ways work.

I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.
