Yep! Weber's rock, and the Webers rock!
What I love about running is you can meditate while running. It's a peaceful place.

thanks for the suggestions so far.

we're looking forward to coming down this sunday (weather permitting) for a lovely day of climbing. we'll hit RRO & Miguels before/after so feel free to stop by and say hello.

We've decided Muir Valley has the best access and Rick Webber has graciously opened up muir to us and offered his assistance in helping us get Erick to/from the climbing site.

For those familiar w/Muir, we have not picked a route yet. we are looking for a route that he can CAMPUS ONLY. good jugs. no ledges (his legs will just get caught on them) vertical or overhanging. perhaps you may have a suggestion - thinking of something along the lines of a creature feature type climb (after the roof pull)

When picking a route try to pick one that doesn't traverse or have many sideways moves. Eric only has partial use of his abs and has a lot of trouble even moving the smallest bit to the side. The route does also have to be at least vertical, or his harness tends to get stuck a lot and his legs get really beaten up.

A BIG THANK YOU - to Rick & Liz Webber for helping us w/access. To Caleb & Dan Beck for being the strong backs and rope guns - to Melissa for being such wonderful support - and to Yasmeen for a WONDERFUL route suggestion!

Erick had a lovely time climbing today. He not only got a chance to climb real rock - but also was able to climb a 9+ - his most difficult route since his accident. Hopefully, he'll get a chance to come down again soon! (and hopefully i'll have pics up once i get them from melissa!)
