If I get a bloody nose, please don't put a tampon in it.

I would prefer just to spit the blood out of my mouth if my mouth is bleeding.
Now, if I am halfway up a route, and a severe attack of diarrhea were to occur, a tampon would sure be a great thing to have. From now on, instead of fouling myself and the route I am on, I will always keep a tampon at the ready. Perhaps taped to the rim of my helmet.
....with every step he takes ... every move he makes....
odds are he won't live to see tomorrow.

for whats its worth- a penny can be applied to a wasp/bee sting and if taped or similar and left for about 15 minutes it has been known to ease the discomfort and swelling- this is the field first aid tip post correct?

does anyone know websites that have info on dog specific first aid kits? i would rather build my own than buy a prepackaged one, my guess is it is way cheaper.
