i do both: submit then delete and never submit. sometimes i don't like the tone of something i've posted or fear that it will be taken the wrong way. more often that those, though, i don't like how much of myself i'll reveal in a post. that seems to happen to me more than i like recently so i've been posting and deleting quite a bit.

and other times i type something up and then realize i'm just adding to worthless banter about an annoying topic that isn't going to do anything but increase the steaming, festering pile of crap and opinions (and crappy opinions) on the internet.

I never delete, I edit a lot and sometimes do not submit if I think it is too offensive or will be taken the wrong way, but I have not deleted anything yet. Most of the word vomit that get passed as a conversation on these threads is at least entertaining enough to pass another 30 seconds of the 9 hours I will be in this office so I don't see the point in deleting. I just assume that everyone else is taking my statements even less seriously than I am perceiving theirs.

Bananas are good for you.

But you're supposed to eat them, Alan, not swim laps with one in your ass.
