I saw this in the news, does anyone have more information about the fall or gear failure?

"Man Falls While Climbing at the Red River Gorge"
 www.lex18.com
Â
A Pennsylvania man survived a major fall from a cliff in the Red River Gorge Sunday. Â
Â
Rescue crews carried the man through rough terrain after falling more than 60 feet from a cliff in the North Fork area. Â
Â
Rescuer J.L. Bowen says the climber could not have prevented the fall, that his repelling equipment simply failed him, and this is not the typical rescues they're used to dealing with. Â
Â
The hiker was taken away with a broken leg, arm, and hip, and was flown out from the Middlefork fire department. He is now recovering at UK Hospital. Â
Â
The man's name has not yet been released. Â

I told him that I have a boyfriend.Yasmeen wrote:the climberhis repelling equipmentRegardless, I'm glad he survived and is recovering. The hiker
