I'm undecided on this- one side I want to send positive comments to the PS but yet I don't feel I can represent the local climbing community with anything factual; I don't care that Dean Potter climbed a rock but of course many are bent and feel the scrutiny that is happening now is based solely on that- bullshit is still bullshit is my take, 600 4wd fucks can sound off vs 30 climbers lets me know the sqeaky wheel gets the grease, but is that a real measure of the impact of impact?

More information and resources on Arches access issues are available on the Access Fund website: http://www.accessfund.org/display/page/AA/59 Part of the wider concern here is that actions taken in the Arches plan might be seen as a precedent by other government units that manage climbing. The Access Fund has been encouraging land managers at all levels, Federal, State, and Local to talk and share information about climbing issues. There is disparity in how similar issues are handled between various governmental units. Climbers would like to see these issues handled in a more consistent, sensible approach.
