I was planning on coming up on saturday and was wondering how many people are climbing at the red? says it might be raining and its a 4 hr drive for me...

The weather looks bad, I would hold off for a better weekend. Maybe early August would be a better time.

I have never been rained on while climbing at the red. You just have to climb on rainy day routes.

How you compare may not be as important as to whom you are compared

Based on 2006 statistics, I estimate 567.333 people this weekend.

Only about 8 people will be climbing. The other 559.333 will be spraying about what they're psyched to go crush on.

what are some good "rainy day" areas to climb at? for some easy/moderate routes? (up to mid 5.10)
