50 bucks open?

Post by drifter »

Hola,

I'm heading up to the Red week after next and have 3 questions.

First off, for those coming from the south (ie chattanooga), what's the quickest way to get to Lindas? I've always gotten off at exit 41(?) in Ky and driven the back way but her website lists another way. Anyone have experience on which is the best (or is there a better way)?

Secondly, has 50 bucks/triple sec been fixed? If not, is help needed?

Thirdly, same question as above for El Patron?

Thanks for the help!

If that is the exit of of 75 at London, I think it ts the fastest. About an hour from London to Beattyville.

Nope. Lotta of folks wanna put up new routes; Few wanna help maintain existing ones.

Yep. MV visitors would appreciate your offer. PM me if you want to help do a couple hours of route maintenance.

Anyone got time to give me a hand this week, I'll fix Triple Sec.

I just replaced the missing fourth bolt with a Fixe glue-in. But, the route will remain closed until 3 or 4 bolts are added near the top. The current 42-foot runout to the anchors doesn't meet our bolting guidelines.

Oh, c'mon Rick. Thats only about a 93 footer, and the route is 95 feet. Thats totally safe.

Triple Sec (aka 50 bucks) is now open. A big thanks to Greg Martin for putting in Fixe Glue-ins for the last three bolts before the anchor.
