My wife and I are driving down from Ny ( Spring break ), Were planning on doing some sport or/and toproping but I'd really like to follow someone placing their own pro. Any takers or suggestions? I'm new to climbing we've both been caving for a long time. Thanks Ben

If you want to learn trad the folks at Seneca Rocks are great. They run a weekend programme where you would have a complete immersion in the theory and practice of multi pitch trad (and get to climb during the whole time). Plus it is nearer to NY(?).

We're going to be in KY anyway visiting family and caving. Planning on doing some sport and/or toproping, just wondering if someone wouldnt mind. But I'll definently look into Seneca. Thanks

There is also a good climbing gym in Louisville: Rocksport. (www.climbrocksport.com) if you are in Louisville. Tues and Thurs are when the climbing crowd hangs out.
