I'm trying to find a partner for sometime between June 29-July 6 for 2-3 days of climbing at Moore's Wall, NC. Preferrably male so my wife will still cook for me when I get back.
Routes I'd like to get on: Sentinel Buttress, Zoo View, Wailing Wall, Golden Earring and some others.
I will lead all or share leads. Contact me by e-mail if you're interested or have questions.

4th of July week NC trip...anyone???
Where is Moore's Wall? I'll be riding my motorcycle through the Smokies either the weekend of the 28th, or the following weekend, with at least one friend. The western NC roads just BEG to have lot-o-rubber smeared across them from sportbike tires.
I will be taking my climbing gear to maybe hit Rock City for a day if I can find a partner, or, at least bouldering in Boatrock west of Atlanta.

It's probably not a great place to take a motorcycle trip since it's kind of around the Winston Salam side of NC and the prettier roads are definitely more western. The climbing is simply beautiful, however, so make the trip if just for the climbing alone.
A good area to ride is the Russell Scenic highway in north Georgia.

Well, if I don't make a 2-day trip from Atlanta, I'll be running the N. Ga roads towards NC with my buddy who lives in Atlanta. My friend in Atlanta isn't a climber, unfortunately, so thie ride with him will be strictly "banging turns" and covering miles. I don't think I'll have a chance to get to Moore's, then, before I move to CA. There are too many routes in the Red for me to climb. I might make a trip to the New with SikMonkey in a month or two, just for shits-n-giggles, though; it's a nice area and actually has a real river, not a wide, muddy stream.
