An Inconvenient Utility Bill

Post by L K Day »

It turns out that the man who preaches that the unwashed masses should cut their energy consumption uses enough electricity at his Tennessee mansion to power more than twenty average homes..... And get a load of that gas bill!

Now that's some funny shit.

On second though, if just twenty of us would move our families into cardboard boxes down by the tracks, Gore could put on a twenty thousand square foot addition, and it would be carbon neutral!

And what about that little pad Edwards just put up? What was it, something like 25,000 square feet? My bad, that's 28,000 feet if you include the attached recreation building. I guess he'll soon be talking about three Americas,,, the POOR, the RICH, and ME.

Al & Tipper Gore, Edwards, and the Clintons are all laughing all the way to the bank. Go ahead and keep supportin these people. In reality, I guess being a hypocrit can make one rich. I think I should change my career path. Nah, I like to sleep at night. Albiet a modest home, without the silk sheets, but I can still sleep.

Keep following your prophet, all you lost sheep. The world is dying as those you support live it up. Hurry all of you do something now before it's too late. We are in crisis mode.

Make your checks payable to the Al Gore Foundation.

Yeah it sucks to see your icons caught with both hands and they're face stuck in the cookie jar. I currently dwell on the line between global/no global warming, I have heard the key points/stances from both sides, all sound feasable, but who's right??? Reguardless though, Al Gore and the rest, talk the talk, but are'nt walking the walk!

now come on rhunt...an honest lib will at least see the hypocrisy in this, and call your leaders on the carpet...that's what being a true leader is all about..admitting the errors instead of whitewashing them.

don't bait and switch on this one. that is what you hated Bush for..saying we were after WMD's but really going after saddam.

Gore has not been honest when he tells us to use renewable energy sources yet he consumes so much electric and nat gas.
Positive vibes brah...positive vibes.

global warming, global cooling who knows. We have to know that the about of carbon dioxide we have released into the atmosphere will affect the climate somehow. I don't think anyone knows how. Scientists know the science of squares precisely, but non-linear systems are very difficult if not impossible to predict. Its possible that small changes in the initial conditions could send the climate into an infinite multitude of possible outcomes. Based on past climate vs CO2 evidence we don't expect the outcome to be a good one, you can say that we don't know exactly so we should just continue as we are. but the bottom line is, we have burned in 100 years what the earth took tens of thousands of years to create. Surely we have rocked the boat somehow, if we fall out, will we land in the middle of an ocean or a swimming pool. Again, we don't know, but judging by the amount of energy involved, we have probably not just rocked the boat, but rather sailed into a hurricane.

Gore's already talking that "Carbon Neutral" crap in his defense. He can't understand why the po folks don't just buy their way to piety like he does.

over here tony blair is catching all sorts of crap for how much he and the rest of the gov't fly and drive big SUVs. i think more people notice the stories in British papers as they are usually juxtaposed with large images of scantilly clad women.
hey, if you yell to your belayer saying "why charles III, you are quite possibly the worst belayer ever" will he throw his tea on you?
