buy some shiny, clanky, thingies to hang on your BD bod harness. chalk often. make loud noises when at your limit. buy a stick clip. stay away from charlie and rro on here. always talk up trad and talk down sport.

Step 1. Buy some good beer or whiskey or bourbon
Step 2. Offer purchased alcohol to anyone willing to let you tag along and learn from them.
Step 3. Climb with willing person and learn.
Step 4. Repeat until you either run out of money, earn the climbing respect of the person you've been getting sloshed so they'll climb with you for gratis, or become a knowledgable enough climber so you can turn around and get lots of free booze off other people
