no bible talk here, at least not too start
It is so much easier to destroy something than it is to create something.
I think the reason we are at war so much, is because we have elected officials, republican and democratic, who lack both the strength and knowledge to create anything beneficial.
I think that a lot of people feel inadequate due their lack of ability to control their surroundings. As a result, they want to feel like they have control over something and because they lack both the strength and knowledge to create something beautiful, they prefer to destroy. i.e. the rights for gay people to get married.
creation
gay people have no right to marry so you can't destroy something that doesn't exist (KY law) I think your premise is better suited for issues like the rise of fundamentalism, muslim, christian, buddist, etc, is the age of reason over? has technology alienated mankind to the point there a desire to return to a spiritual base for human organization.. my 2cents carry on
it applies to both topics, I knew that would be the first lawyer type statement made, so I respond by saying.....but in the 2004 election there was vote as to weather or not to create or destroy such a law, what did you choose to do?
How you compare may not be as important as to whom you are compared

wow I haven't had a conversation with a third grader in a while, lets see, question 1, ah yea man if something is illegal that means you sorta like don't have a right to do that, and 2, of course I would most likely disagree with some laws but I'm sure the legislature had their reasons for passing them and I respect civil authority as much as the typical citizen, rights outside of the laws on the books, maybe the term your groping for is inalienable and sorry if the spelling is off on that
