Superman Returnes- nice special effects but no substance whatsoever

95% of all movies in theaters for the past 5 years have sucked.

oh meadows say it isn't so...clerks ii was sooooo good. from the opening talking heads tune to the closing soul asylum one. it was the antithesis of the first clerks movie (in color, etc.). maybe it's just me...being old and all.

thank you, charlie, i feel validated now for taking my wife to see it on our 10th anniversary last july (when we were out in portland). the first one came out while we were engaged, i think, and it seemed like a fitting celebration -- donkey show and all.
