sure roadside in the spring is fun so long as you don't have to work damage controle cus some gumby has a rooky belayer who doesn't even know which end of the rope to hold on an atc and back-clips the first four bolts of c-sharp b-flat.

boy someone is bitter...

In todays day and age of one guy stomping on the next guy to get ahead. I like to think most climbers hold themselves to a higher standard and offer to help the "gumby [who] has a rooky belayer who doesn't even know which end of the rope to hold on an atc and back-clips the first four bolts of c-sharp b-flat."

Then again we lost Torrent because of those same people... Maybe I'm giving climbers too much credit. You are right. i never said it sucked, and of course I helped out, as I have on manny occations at road side. I do love roadside, and I am sure there will always be a climb there that I still have to redpoint, I am just saying it would really piss me off if my day was ruined because some jackass grounded next to me before I noticed his attrocious gear setup. I would say that its jackasses like that who got torrent closed. That being said, the hustle and bustle can be fun on ocation but I prefer to hit roadside durring my favorite climbing weather, 30 degrees and sunny.

oh my god, I just agreed with anticlimber
