I'm sorry to interrupt this love fest, but I want to turn the attention on me for a moment. I'm confused on my own identity and I was wondering where I fall. Could anyone help me? I'm sure I'm not a hippie, but I recyle and I didn't vote for Bush.

From Urban Dictionary ..
neo-con 45 up, 36 down

invincible on the home front, but invisible on the REAL front (the front lines of a war, that is).

basically a tough-talking, know-nothing blowhard who lives vicariously through our REAL heroes - the brave fighting men and women in uniform who preserve the freedom by which we live.

Since we're all raging, let me weigh in.....

This is the first time I've worked a 5 day week in maybe 2 months. Yesterday afternoon my boss was in my office for 10 mins and it was all I could do to not totally go off. He's really a nice guy, best boss I've ever had. I had to leave my office and walk laps around the building for 20 mins I was so close to ragin on him. I generally don't have trouble keeping my temper under control, I consider it one of the few skills I have, but I came so close to full on freakin out I was red in the face. Thing is, that's the third time this has happened to me this week.

Then, there's the cafeteria. Because I'm fighting applications and projects that are fuckin underfunded and antiquated, more often than not I skip lunch to get some shit done. So, I waltz down to the cafe, get behind a furriner that doesn't speak engrish, cannot understand that a burger is not a side item to his chicken sammich, and it takes 5 mins to get out of line. So, after this little bit of social awareness education, I get charged almost 7 dollars for food I wouldn't even feed Tackett's dog.

That and I have no real plans (that I'm excited about) on a Friday night in Lex. That sucks, and I have to chuff tomorrow in the freezing cold. If I weren't totally strung out from driving I'd so be in HP or NC this weekend it's scary.

So, you wanna talk about identity crisis? I'm a hippie w/ 10 yrs in at fortune 500 tech company; stock options, 401K, medical bennies, and responsibilities I could do without and all I'm looking forward to is going home to the few things that always love me back..... Budweiser, narcotics, hongbits, and billiards in my basement.

All that wouldn't be a big deal really. These are things I can handle, and really do handle on a regular basis but until freakin UK would play like they had some skillz I'm hating it. I should be sitting at the pub right now looking at a nice big greasy O'round and my third pint. At least that's something that stands a chance of taking away a bit of this RAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
